Anantara Hotels to open glitzy New York Palace Budapest Hotel in 2022

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas will debut a new hotel in Budapest, Hungary. The grand development is called Anantara New York Palace Budapest Hotel and the opulent property is an architectural ode to the Belle Epoque era and will blend contemporary luxury with old-world glamour.
Located on the Erzsébet Krt boulevard on the Pest side of the Danube River, the 127-year-old building was designed by Hungarian architect, Alajos Hauszmann, and the design features Italian Renaissance, Baroque, Gothic and Art Nouveau influences.

The hotel will feature 185 guest rooms and suites, as well as two presidential suites of 1,453 sq ft that will be filled with handmade Murano glass chandeliers, custom designed furniture, luxurious marble bathrooms, and signature Italian design features.
The property is currently undergoing soft renovation that is expected to be completed by Spring 2022. The hotel will feature a glamourous new lobby and a glitzy all-day dining restaurant that serves Hungarian cuisine.
Three other dining options will also be available. The New York Café led by chef Andras Wolf will serve fine dining. The Poet Bar is an intimate setting for after dinner drinks, and the Deep Water Room serves signature Anantara breakfasts and all-day dining.

Other hotel amenities that will be completed by the end of 2022 include a new Anantara Spa with four treatment rooms and relaxation facilities such as a sauna, steam room, and a 15m heated relaxation pool.
The Anantara New York Palace Budapest Hotel will have nightly rates that start from €200 ($308) in a deluxe double room for two persons sharing on a B&B basis.
