Sky Everton hits new high of $3,127 psf

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - In this column, we look at condominium projects that have achieved new highs in terms of psf prices and those that have seen new lows. This is based on URA Realis data for the period of Jan 16 to 30.

Highest psf prices

Sky Everton saw a new psf price high following the sale of a penthouse unit for $5.69 million on Jan 30. The five-bedroom unit measures 1,819 sq ft, translating to a psf price of $3,127.

The freehold development, which is still under construction, is located on Everton Road on the site of the former Asia Gardens. It is a project by SL Capital, a joint venture between Sustained Land, Ho Lee Group, Kwong Lee Land and Penjuru Capital.

Comprising a single 36-storey tower, Sky Everton has 262 units with sizes ranging from 463 sq ft for a one-bedroom apartment to 2,228 sq ft for the largest penthouse, which comprises six bedrooms and a private lift.
The development is within close proximity to the upcoming Cantonment MRT Station on the Circle Line as well as the Outram Park MRT Interchange Station on the NorthEast, East-West and Thomson-East Coast Lines. It is also near malls such as Tanjong Pagar Centre, 100 AM Mall and Icon Village. The development is slated for completion in 2023.
Kopar at Newton is another development under construction that saw a new psf price high. A two-bedroom unit measuring 614 sq ft changed hands for $1.64 million or $2,666 psf on Jan 20.

Located in District 9’s Newton precinct, the leasehold development is made up of two 23-storey towers. Developed by CEL Development, the property arm of publicly listed construction firm Chip Eng Seng Corp, Kopar at Newton is targeted to be completed in 2023.
The property has a total of 378 residential units, ranging from one- to five-bedroom apartments of between 517 and 1,819 sq ft. It also has penthouses offering up to six bedrooms and 3,305 sq ft in size. (Check all latest Singapore property Market Trends)
The property is within walking distance of Newton MRT Station, which is an interchange for the North-South and Downtown Lines. Newton Food Centre is just opposite the development, while other amenities in the vicinity include the Orchard Road shopping belt as well as the Botanic Gardens.

No new lows in terms of psf price were recorded for the period.
