JustCo unveils its first tech-enabled workspace at The Centrepoint

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Co-working operator JustCo has unveiled its first technology-enabled workspace at its centre at The Centrepoint. New members there include cosmetic giant L’Oreal and Tencent-backed Riot Games. This workspace will pilot a new total work solutions platform that was developed with support from Frasers Property, one of JustCo’s strategic partners.
The co-working centre at The Centrepoint spans three floors, and members at this centre can enjoy several smart workspace functions. JustCo has partnered with workspace on-demand platform Switch to offer its pay-per-use service to members at The Centrepoint. Switch is owned and operated by REinvent, a proptech innovation studio backed by JustCo.

“As businesses start to rethink their real estate strategies in the new normal, mostly due to cost pressures ahead and the need for a suitable decentralised workforce plan, many are turning to coworking spaces for flexible short-term work solutions,” says JustCo.
JustCo at The Centrepoint is also piloting spatial analytics technology with SixSense, a company leveraging the use of artificial intelligence for space usage management. SixSense is also launched by REinvent. The spatial analytics will help JustCo receive real-time occupancy data, monitor the usage frequency of spaces, and better manage overcrowding to ensure social distancing measures are adhered.

This workspace at The Centrepoint follows JustCo’s first flexible work centre at Marina One, which was opened in 2018. “We believe that the next chapter of the retail industry will see malls evolve as experiential hubs that cater to the diversity of shoppers’ work, play and daily needs. The entry of JustCo at The Centrepoint as one of its anchor tenants perfectly complements the transformation of the mall into a vibrant retail and lifestyle destination,” says Low Chee Wah, CEO of Frasers Property Retail.
