A fun-filled family affair has descended upon Plaza Singapura, filled with lively chatter and laughter amid upbeat Christmas carols, and a feather-like Christmas tree decked-out in dazzling ribbons, ornaments and candy canes.

For the past two days, participants at the EdgeProp@Glass House at Plaza Singapura have been decorating their own gingerbread house with colourful candies and frostings as they enjoy some fun Christmas bonding with their nearest and dearest.
One such participant is Catherine, who was celebrating her son, Chapman’s 13th birthday at the shopping mall when she chanced upon the Glass House.

She was also accompanied by her daughter, Chelsea, when they discovered the gingerbread-decorating contest.

“It got me curious and I thought it would be really fun. It’s also the first time I got to do something like this,” she told EdgeProp.
“Plus, it’s free and I get to bond with my kids,” said the mother-of-three, adding that she enjoys regular trips to the movies, shopping and cycling with her kids.

On her “winning strategy”, Catherine said with a laugh: “I was going to try to be as creative as I can with what I design and just have fun with it!”
