Located in District 8, the property sits on a 1,661 sq ft site, with a total built-up floor area of about 5,500 sq ft. At $6.6 million, it works out to $1,200 psf based on total built-up area. Under the 2014 Master Plan, the site is zoned “residential” with a gross plot ratio of 1.6, capped at a 6-storey height limit.
The property was rebuilt in 2014, and features a façade design inspired by heritage black and white bungalows in Singapore. The interior is well-renovated and every floor enjoys ample natural light and good airflow from an open air-well. All the bedrooms come with an attached bathroom.

The property is in a neighbourhood that is steeped in history, with many roads off Jalan Besar named after World War I personalities and battle sites. Sturdee Road, in particular, was named after Admiral Sir Frederick Sturdee.
