Crate and Barrel shutters its store in Orchardgateway@emerald

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - American furniture store Crate and Barrel is closing its store at Orchardgateway@emerald after five years on the premises. The store will remain open until Nov 10. The 25,000 sq ft store opened in 2014 and spans five floors, from basement 2 to level 3.

The furniture store maintains a presence in Singapore with the Crate and Barrel ION boutique store. That store also features furniture selections and a curated selection of homeware and home assessor options.
The company is also bringing back its trendy brand CB2 as part of its online store in Singapore. The brand operated out of a physical store in 2013 at Peranakan Place Complex, but existed the market in 2016.
Crate and Barrel still has a physical store at ION
Crate and Barrel also plans to open a new physical store in Malaysia, as well as extend its online store coverage to the country.
