According to the Master Plan 2019, Orchard and Downtown will be rejuvenated as a lifestyle hub to include more mixed developments which offer live, work and play opportunities. New housing will be constructed in the Marina South Area with community facilities and amenities. Stage-6 of the Circle Line opening by 2025 will also enhance the Central Region's connectivity.

"Can be a bit loud at times during the construction of Martin Modern Next Door, but this feels like a more exclusive condo. I enjoy the industrial design and excellent airflow in my unit"

"Probably the best apartment building in the Robertson Quay area...have lived in Robertson Quay for over 15 years, of which about half has been in Martin 38. Rental is a little higher than most of the others, but you get a superior product and service offering. Unlike many other condos which hand over the management to 3rd parties soon after completion, this one is still managed by SC Global after 11 years. It shows up in the little things - the management team, concierge, security guards and cleaners have been the same for years, so they are very familiar with the building and the residents. You get a proper concierge service that does lots of stuff for you (including replacing light bulbs, doing minor things when you are overseas, etc.) - I've stayed in other condos which profess to have condo service, but all you get is someone who will accept deliveries for you. On top of that the architectural design is awesome, plus a great pool. The only drawback is the lack of a gym which is a legacy issue from when they first opened and partnered with the original commercial gym tenant who has since shut down. There's a gym in the building, but it's a commercial gym open to the public and residents have to pay to join like everyone else."
