Sengkang also offers a wide array of work and play amenities, with the main shopping mall Compass One being Singapore's first thematic shopping centre based on the theme of learning.

The North-East Region is the second largest and most densely populated of the five regions in Singapore, with Sengkang being its most populous town. Spanning 13,810ha, the North-East Region is mainly a residential region and housing estate largely comprised of HDB flats. In addition to a myriad of amenities including hospitals, parks, schools and transport options, the region is also home to a few tourist attractions such as Pulau Ubin and Coney Island. Seletar Aerospace Park, which comprises of several aviation manufacturing and research facilities by companies such Rolls-Royce and Singapore Technologies Aerospace, provide employment opportunities to residents both within and beyond the region. Sengkang General Hospital, a 1000-bed hospital, is the largest in the region and is built to further the government's efforts to provide quality and accessible healthcare to all Singaporeans.

"I looked at many developments all over Singapore (those below 1700 Psf/ 3 bedder and below). Thus far i have only saw potential for appreciation in this Development. Many others are way overvalued. The development of the Pasir Ris Area and the plot of land just opposite will be very beneficial."

"One of the worst condos in Singapore with no open area, congested units/lift area, worst barbecue pits. We moved here after our stay in another two condos in last 6 years. Unable to get bicycle parking slot since last one year. Traffic noise is unbearable, we ended up closing windows & balcony door all the time. The only good thing is swimming pool which is a basic in every condo."

"Flo Residence is one of the best condominiums in Punggol. It has close access with the community centre, Restaurant and shopping mall also many worship centres. For public transport an LRT, busstop and taxi stand also close to this location."
