Jurong East is the regional centre of the region, while Jurong West is the most populous town in the region. These are mainly petrochemical companies, comprising of international players such as BP, ExxonMobil, DuPont, Mitsui Chemicals and Shell. The West Region is also at the forefront of the government's industrial development efforts. The government plans to develop the Jurong Lake District and Jurong Innovation District into the second Central Business District (CBD) area in Singapore. Additionally, the Tuas Mega Port, upon completion in the 2040s, is anticipated to be the world's single largest container port with an annual capacity of 65 million TEUs.

"Dear all ...amongst all the telcos ,u should think only m1 offers 24hours hotline ...give them a chance to improve as sometimes it just takes 1 or rotten apples to spoil m1 image ...email them ..speak to their higher management...go to their main branches & report the issues ..you will find answers and resolved ...but never the less ...throw out a strong email to their side followed by a follow up with a call to confirm receiving ....as some of their Management may have attitude but they do give in time to time ..they just got to practise their better subscriptions discounts like few years ago & am sure everyone will go back to them ...at least in d middle of d night they r still there taking ur issues in & some r extremely nice with advising u how to resolve situations...chill my dear respected guys & ladies ...give them a chance ..."

"If you're thinking of having M1 as your mobile service provider, forget about it. Coverage are really terrible. What's the point of giving high monthly data when the 4G coverage are not up to today's standards And the government are already preparing to roll out 5G network. Giving feedback to M1 is a PITA. And M1, if you're reading this, please wake up and provide a decent coverage. I don't think that's too much to ask for."
