Spanning 13,150ha in land area, the region hosts Singapore's only UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to many of the country's national monuments, such as the Merlion Park and Statue of Raffles. Although the region is designated mainly for commercial activities, it houses residential developments ranging from HDBs to bungalows. There is also plenty of greenery in the region, linked by 19km of park connectors. "Great condo with very good layout floorplan. Location is nestled in a quiet landed estate, so lots of privacy, feels like living in the suburbs. Facilities are basic, and the primary value is the lack of wastage space in the apartment. There is some noise from the highway for specific units that directly face highway, as it is next to it. However it is not a problem if you usually use air con anyway. Mid floor units at 03 are probably the best, as the living and master bedrooms face the field and trees next door which is beautiful and quiet. Only the second bedroom faces towards the highway and it is minimised due to the angle. Mid floor also means wont hear as much noise from the highway as trees can block."
