Other major economic activity includes manufacturing, with industrial estates in Bedok, Changi, Pasir Ris, Tampines and Paya Lebar. Changi Business Park also hosts a number of MNCs such as Standard Chartered and IBM. Going forward, the government has plans to create more semi-conductor and aviation-related jobs at Tampines North, Pasir Ris and Changi. Aside from the bustling economic activity, residents benefit from a wide variety of green and play spaces in the region. Residents will also enjoy increased connectivity to other parts of Singapore with the upcoming Cross Island Line and Thomson-East Coast Line.

"Very convenient with lots of good and reasonably priced food at nearby Siglap Community Centre. Also close to Temasek Primary School, Temasek Secondary School, Bayshore MRT station and Bedok South MRT station (TEL line to be completed Year 2023/2024). Take a bus to Bedok Mall and/or to Eastpoint Mall or Tampines Mall/Tampines One/Century Square. Below the condo, there is a Halal bakery Hipster Bakes. Owner from The Daffodil . "Rented a 2 BR unit for a year. Super glad to return unit. Very old development, gym is old and of little use, though pool is decent. Development facing some trees, lots of mosquitos at times. Unit rented super old, little maintenance, landlord challenging to deal with. We are glad it was only a 1 year lease"

"I hated this apartment (#03-14 of The Daffodil at 568 upper east coast road). Most of all the house owner is pathetic. He first all gave us an unfurnished/semi-furnished apartment with the cost that people here are living at the same cost with very well furnished house (i know 2 of my friends living here). And the maintainance of the house was extremely poorly done. We have changed the Kitchen sink Pipe and Master bath flush tub machine and the study room bath's jet pipe within 4 months of living here. The house owner has given such a poor quality stuff that the jet pipes were just installed when we came here in October 2015 and now we have to change it because the jet pipe as now we can see is a thin plastic inside. And we used it just for 1 week since our master bath pot was not working. Is this the kind of quality provided by any house owner Its not that tenants come and stay for just 1-2 days like a hotel, we sign a contract of at least an year to save your headache dear house owner."
