New housing will be constructed in the Marina South Area with community facilities and amenities. Stage-6 of the Circle Line opening by 2025 will also enhance the Central Region's connectivity.

"Centrally located with plenty of nearby amenities such as United Square, Goldhill Plaza, Novena Square, Novena Square 2, Velocity and Newton Circus Food Centre and easy accessibility to public transport including Novena and Newton MRT station. All bus services located in front of Hotel Royal next to Sutites @ Newton go directly to Far East Plaza on Scotts Road and some to Orchard Road. "

"The hotel was in the best possible location for touring Singapore. The MRT station is right downstairs in a mall with food options and shopping. The rooftop pool has amazing views and amenities. Our room and communal areas of the hotel were always clean and sanitary. They prioritize the environment by having guests decide when they would like their bedding or towels replaced. The staff were wonderful as well, and made the check-in and check-out process as smooth as possible, even quickly arranging a cab for us at 5AM to go to the airport. I would choose this hotel again in a heartbeat the next time I visit Singapore."

"Our first time in Singapore and this hotel location makes everything super accessible. Very conveniently located in Orchard with an MRT station next door and a plethora of shops, cafes and restaurants well within walking distance! The room itself is pretty spacious and very clean. Usual amenities supplied - shampoo/conditioner, body wash, slippers, robes, 2x bottled water. The staff are super friendly, when we checked in they gave us lots of advice and areas to visit. Thanks for making this stay very enjoyable so far "

"Fantastic stop over! Will certainly come back. The pool area was incredible. We treated ourselves to champagne on the roof whilst in the pool. Unfortunately a few screaming children were there also in the pool, however to our amazement and joy they were told by security to be quiet!! Loved it, Fantastic! Top class"

"Good hotel with a central location. The rooms were very comfortable and provided a great basis to visit the city. Our biggest disappointment was the breakfast which had a large selection of items but all of poor quality. Everything was industrial and didnt taste good. We would have much rather preferred a smallest selection but of higher quality. Overall, we found that the price/quality ratio of this hotel was not good (its expensive for what you get) but we still enjoyed our stay there."

"Great hotel and location! The hotel sits directly above the Somerset subway station on the North South line, making it really convenient and cheap to get around Singapore. The hotel also connects to the Orchard Gateway and 313@somerset shopping malls, so there are plenty of shopping and dining options there without having to leave the area. This is really useful during bad weather. The rooftop pool deck, zen garden, and infinity pool are soooo relaxing! Service up there and all around the hotel is excellent and really helped us enjoy our vacation. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well, lots of choices from the different cultural tastes of Singapore. This is one of our best hotel experiences and I highly recommend if you are looking to stay somewhere in the Orchard area."
