With a land area of 25,500ha, the West Region is the largest of the five regions in Singapore. Jurong East is the regional centre of the region, while Jurong West is the most populous town in the region. A large number of Singapore's heavy industry companies are concentrated in the West Region. These are mainly petrochemical companies, comprising of international players such as BP, ExxonMobil, DuPont, Mitsui Chemicals and Shell. The West Region is also at the forefront of the government's industrial development efforts. The government plans to develop the Jurong Lake District and Jurong Innovation District into the second Central Business District (CBD) area in Singapore. Additionally, the Tuas Mega Port, upon completion in the 2040s, is anticipated to be the world's single largest container port with an annual capacity of 65 million TEUs.

"Been here for a viewing. A nice peaceful condo compound along Bukit Batok East Ave 5, sitting between Little Guilin and Bukit Batok Nature Park. Both parks are just about 10 to 15 minutes stroll from this condominium. Plenty of fresh air. Love the open space and landscaping, feel like a walk in a park. Consist of 3 high rise tower of 29 storey each, far apart from one another. Spectacular view for mid to high floor units. Nearest train station is Bukit Gombak MRT."

"The security guards are really friendly and the place is nice, but whats the point of having facilities that we cant use. Its been over 4 months since the basketball court is closed.. if the reasoning is that theres too many outsiders playing in the court then isnt the problem more on people sneaking in rather than the basketball court issue... I dont think its fair at all to shut off the basketball court as the people who are playing in the basketball court who arent really doing anything are also affected, especially for a long time at that."
