Jurong East is the regional centre of the region, while Jurong West is the most populous town in the region. A large number of Singapore's heavy industry companies are concentrated in the West Region. The West Region is also at the forefront of the government's industrial development efforts. "Sitting on top of the transport Hub with MRT, LRT and bus interchange; served by Hillion Mall below that is so convenient for home stayer. If this mall is not good enough, then there is the Bukit Panjang Plaza and Junction 10 across the road for consideration. The Bukit Panjang CC is also a walking distance away."

"A very convenient place to stay and call it as a home. Block 8 has the shortest walking distance to the MRT and it is a full shelter way with few options access to the MRT. This is particularly good for for commuters on rainy days. I have been staying here for almost 5 years and do not have to bring umbrella since most of the town area places have shelter ways, so to-fro trips from the home to most places on rainy days really a big fuss, do not need to worry the expensive cab fare and you will not get wet as well. In addition, the travelling time from Bukit Panjang MRT station to town area will only take about 30 to 35 mins train ride (Bugis, Chinatown, Orchard etc). This place is particular also good for those who are working at the west area like NUH and NUS (via circle line, changed at Botanic garden). The trip from Hillion Residences to Botanic garden will only take 20 mins train ride, that's pretty fast to be honest. There is another beautiful part of this condominium is for units that have North-South facing, units are so bright and windy. The block 8 is the furthest away from another 2 blocks of the project which residents there enjoy a lot of privacy. The gourmet dining facilities area at Hillion Residences are very well-designed. You can easily invite friends or family to spend a great evening by the pool downstairs of your block and prepare the food at the facilities. The gourmet dining area comes with a shelter and dining table that can accommodate 8 persons with few 4 seaters outdoor sofas in the same area. All these are within the sheltered area so you do not need to worry about cancelling your plan. This design is particularly useful as I know most condo project does not have this, most are open space instead. Overall, I recommend this place since the NTUC of the Hillion Mall (B2 of the condo) is running 24/7, so convenient for residents!"
