"Overall is not as per expectation, especially the construction noise is EXTREMELY TERRIBLE - Monday to Saturday 8.30am-6pm+. WFH is really challenging as sometimes video call disrupted a lots despite the noise. The only "ear-peace-day" is Sunday. Also, the grab/taxi pick up and drop off point is weird, sometimes security not helpful."

"Stayed two years at a two room unit on 14th floor at gilstead Two. It was distressing from the start. The unit was badly maintained. Leakages from ceiling in kitchen and toilet. Leakage in master bedroom window. According to contractor, units in the condo have this problem Bed frame broke in middle of the night Aircon units in master bedroom keeps breaking down. Aircon in second room not cold We had to keep having contractors in to repair!! Fridge keeps breaking down until we decided to buy a new fridge on our own Hood doesnt work from the start of lease Second year into the lease we found BLUE GREEN ALGAE in the water! Management of condo was very Co operative and had water tank flushed! The algae still persist! We use a very good water filter and change filter very frequently and monitor water quality we use very closely. The final straw that made us told landlady we want to move out early was mold started appearing on the walls where our wardrobe and the store was!! Our winter boots, clothes and many items had to be thrown away! Although we were told that painting was done to the unit, truth is ceilings and many walls were not painted! The mould started from the ceilings. IF YOU ENJOY HAVING CONTRACTORS COME TO YOUR UNIT FREQUENTLY TO DO REPAIRS AND HAVE THE SUN RISE ON YOU FROM ONE END, HEAT UP YOUR APARTMENT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY AND THEN AGAIN SET ON YOU MANY TIMES FEROCIOUSLY IN THE EVENING THEN THESE UNITS ARE FOR YOU! One of the saving grace are the management staff and cleaners. They are friendly, sincere and so helpful! It is also because of their help and kindness we managed to stay on. Landlady only mock, say unkind things and had to be confronted firmly before she will deal with the so many distressing issues we had to face during these two already difficult covid years!"

"Stayed here for 2 years. Miss the lovely views of Bukit Timah hill from the balcony and the lovely sunsets. Gilstead two is a great condo situated close to Newton MRT , walking distance to balmoral plaza that has a few eateries . The stay here was largely comfortable. Very convenient with parcel Santa & a laundry drop service . However the quality of construction is not the best. Had issues with water pipe leaks from false ceiling in the bathroom many times during my stay and the shower screen glass also shattered. Poor quality materials otherwise its a good condo"

"Gilstead TWO is located less than 5-minute walking distance from Newton MRT Station. Also located near the popular Newton Food Centre. Fun fact: A scene from the movie Crazy Rich Asians was filmed at Newton Food Centre. Orchard Road, a major shopping belt in Singapore, is just a few bus stops away from the condominium."
