"It's an alright area to me, being right next to Intercontinental Hotel, and against the Singapore River. There are many restaurants and bars surrounding The Quayside, which makes this a great hang out spot. There are also a lot of people passing through this area during evening times, especially jogging or cycling by. That said, it's a very expat heavy area, so depending on which side of the coin you are on, you may want to experience this area for yourself to see if it suits your needs. Also, because of that, the generic vibes of the area is also much pricier."
