SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - GuocoLand’s ultra-luxury residences Wallich Residence was named World Silver Winner in the Residential (High Rise) category at the 2022 FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards. The award marks GuocoLand’s fourth win at the annual awards event. FIABCI is the French acronym for the International Real Estate Federation, which recognises excellence in real estate worldwide.

Dora Chng, general manager (residential) at GuocoLand, says the group is proud that the development has been recognised by an international body like FIABCI. "Wallich Residence is already known both locally and internationally for its ultra-luxury offerings. What adds to its desirability is that it is highly exclusive and, at the same time, it is in a prime location and offers residents great convenience and a host of amenities as part of a world-class integrated development," she says.
Wallich Residence has 181 luxury residences. It is located at the top of the 290m-tall Guoco Tower, GuocoLand’s flagship integrated development and Singapore’s tallest building located in the Tanjong Pagar area.
The development made waves when its 21,109 sq ft triplex super penthouse was sold at a price of $73.8 million in 2019 to British billionaire inventor James Dyson. It subsequently made headlines again the following year when one of its four simplex penthouses was sold for $17.5 million, hitting an all-time high price of $4,987 psf at the time.
