SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Swiss luxury appliances brand V-ZUG has opened a new flagship showroom at ION Orchard. Located on the second floor, the space replaces V-ZUG’s previous showroom Zugorama, located at Scotts Square.
The V-ZUG Experience Centre at ION Orchard features a customer-oriented exhibition area that allows buyers to see the brand’s kitchen and laundry appliances up close. The new showroom was designed by Gabriel Castelló Pinyon, V-ZUG’s head of brand displays, international markets, in collaboration with Peter Tay, founder of Peter Tay Studio.

According to V-ZUG, sustainability was a key consideration for the showroom. The flooring chosen is from Inalco, a company that creates surfaces through an innovative process involving mineral selection and digital technology resulting in an end product that consumes fewer resources. In addition, V-ZUG repurposed a number of items from the Zugorama showroom, while a smart LED lighting system is used to illuminate the space.
At the showroom’s launch on Mar 8, V-ZUG also unveiled a range of new products, including the Grand, Combi-Cooktop, Supreme CombiCooler, Supreme Wine Cooler, Cooktop V4000 I904, CombiMiwell and AdoraDish. The products come with a 10-year warranty. This is longer than the two-year warranty period applied for past products and is a reflection of V-ZUG’s commitment to sustainability, the brand says in a press release.

“We are very excited to embark on this next phase of growth in Singapore,” remarks Angeline Yap, managing director for Singapore and Southeast Asia at V-ZUG. Yap adds: “Our new showroom is our way of creating a haven for our customers to retreat to and find out more about how V-ZUG can complement their busy lifestyles.”
The showroom is open 10am to 10pm daily. Customers that purchase a V-ZUG appliance will receive two-year access to V-ZUG's Gourmet Academy, which features complimentary workshops and culinary masterclasses that will be held at the new showroom.
