URA launched Parcel D along Tampines Avenue 10 for sale under the Confirmed List of the Government Land Sales programme. The 99-year lease- hold, 168,569 sq ft site can be developed into a new 490-unit private condo. The site is near United World College of South East Asia (East Campus), St Hilda’s Primary and Secondary Schools and Temasek Polytechnic. The tender closes on April 28.
There are three 99-year leasehold private condos and one executive condo in the area, with a total of 2,500 new units coming on stream, says Nicholas Mak of SLP International. The new developments include The Santorini (average price of $1,123 psf), Q Bay Residences ($935 psf) and Waterview ($1,011 psf), according to Mak. The units in these projects could be competitors in the leasing market in future.
