Singaporean real estate veteran, Wendy Tang, has been appointed group managing director of Knight Frank Singapore with effect from April. Tang will assume the position from current chairman and group managing director, Danny Yeo. Yeo will continue to head the company as executive chairman of Knight Frank Singapore.
Tang joins Knight Frank from Beverly Group where she led their development projects in Malaysia for the last five years. Prior to that, Tang was with Knight Frank from 2010 to 2013, where she was executive director and head of residential services. She spent a year at Alpha Investment Partners from 2008 to 2009 as assistant director of portfolio and asset management.

She was with Beverly Group before for three years from 2004 to 2007 as executive director of sales and global marketing for the company’s joint venture project with CapitaLand in Kuala Lumpur.
Tang has spent 27 years in the real estate industry, and her experience covers a wide spectrum. The first time Tang joined Knight Frank was in 1997, where she was senior manager of residential for project sales and consultancy until 2000.
This marks the third time Tang is joining the firm. “We are heartened to welcome Wendy back as part of the Knight Frank family and I look forward to working closely with her to chart the future of the business,” says Yeo. “In this era of digital disruptions, the real estate landscape is evolving rapidly and we expect to see significant transformations in the industry. Wendy's experience presents tremendous opportunity for the firm to accelerate the growth and the enhancement of our service offerings for our clients.”
According to Kevin Coppel, regional head of Knight Frank Asia Pacific, “Knight Frank Singapore plays a critical role in our business, being based in one of the key commercial hubs in the Asia Pacific region.”
