SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Keppel Corporation announced that Teo Eng Cheong will be designated as CEO of the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co (SSTEC). He will take over from outgoing CEO Tay Lim Heng with effect from June 1, who will be appointed managing director of Keppel Urban Solutions on the same day.
Prior to joining Keppel on Jan 1 as director of corporate office at Keppel Corp, Teo was CEO international of Surbana Jurong Group. He also held various leadership positions in government in Economic Development Board (EDB) Monetary Authority of Singapore and Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports.
Notably, Teo was also posted as the EDB centre director in Suzhou, China from 1996 to 1998 to support the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park, the first government-to-government project between Singapore and China.
