SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Sri Lankan hotel group, Teardrop Hotels’, has launched two luxury villas in Galle, Sri Lanka. The two properties are within the historic Galle Fort district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The first, at 41 Lighthouse Street, is a three-bedroom villa with a private swimming pool. The two-storey villa recently completed a three-year renovation and can accommodate seven guests. The second villa, at neighbouring 42 Lighthouse Street, is a four-bedroom villa that had been the home of a 18th century Dutch merchant. This property can accommodate up to 10 guests and features a sky terrace with views of the Indian Ocean.

Each of the two villas feature historic Sri Lankan architecture and are designed with modern interiors. “We've seen a growing trend in families that are looking for exclusive use villas in the south, and 41 and 42 Lighthouse Street fit the bill perfectly.
