SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Tony Koe, CEO of property agency SRI, will be stepping down from his role with effect from June 30. In a May 23 press release, the agency says Koe is stepping down to “pursue personal interests”.
Koe was appointed as CEO of SRI in 2016. "I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of our associates, developers, clients and partners for the unwavering support in my seven years with SRI,” he states in the press release. “Winning both the Enterprise 50 and Singapore’s Fastest Growing Companies Awards for two consecutive years in 2022 and 2023 during my tenure with the company has been amazing milestones that were only made possible with your trust and support.”
Following his departure, Bruce Lye, SRI’s managing partner and co-founder, will take over in the interim as CEO. According to the agency, the selection process for its new chief is currently underway and the result will be announced in due course.
“SRI would like to thank Tony for his selfless contribution to the company over the past seven years,” says Lye. “As core pillars of the business, Benson Koh, Ken Low, Tricia Teo, Low Choon Sin, Mok Sze Sze and myself have been working closely with Tony and the management team to build SRI from a lean formidable group into a more than 1,200-strong salesperson agency.”
Lye adds that the management bench will continue to steer the company while ensuring that the transition in leadership is seamless.
