“The turnout is very encouraging,” says Gregory Sim, deputy CEO of SingHaiyi. Interest came from those who live in the Clementi neighbourhood as well as those working in one-north, Jurong East as well as those at the tertiary education institutions such as INSEAD and National University of Singapore, he adds. Visitors included former owners of Park West Condo on Jalan Lempeng (off Clementi Avenue 6), which SingHaiyi had purchased en bloc for $840.9 million in January 2018.
The developer spent about $5 million on the sales gallery of Parc Clematis located at Clementi Close. It features six different show units.
“I think it has one of the most number of show units among new projects launched this year,” reckons Sim.

The development has a total of 1,468 units on a 633,644 sq ft, 99-year leasehold site. There are nine 24-storey towers with three different tiers: Contemporary, which is targeted at singles and couples, those with young families and professionals; Elegance, with more spacious units for larger families, including multi-generational families; and Signature, which is the most premium series, and cater to those who want units that have are more high-end. Its Masterpiece are the 12 strata terraced houses and six strata detached houses in the development.
Within the development is a 100m beach-like pool and three other 50m lap pools. Facilities include co-kitchen with 12 different ovens and cooking facilities, some of which are dedicated for Muslim cooking. There is also co-working space with meeting rooms that residents can book. There are also music rooms which can be opened up so residents can hold their own jam sessions. “These facilities are designed to encourage interaction among residents,” says Sim.
Owing to the wide range of unit types (64 in total) within the development and to give homebuyers more time to decide on the units of their choice, the official launch will be held a fortnight from now, that is, on August 31.
SingHaiyi intends to release a first phase of 400 units. Units in the Contemporary Series, which range from one- to four-bedroom types, will have prices starting from $699,000. The Elegance Series has a mix of two- to five-bedroom units as well as penthouses with prices upward of $1.113 million. The Signature Series has a mix of three- to five-bedroom units, and prices from $2.056 million.
For the strata landed housing units, intermediate terraced houses start from $2.752 million while corner terraced houses are from $3.5 million. Detached houses start from $3.927 million.
