According to a report by CBRE, Singapore emerged as the top Asian outbound real-estate investor, with US$11.9 billion ($16.2 billion) worth of investments overseas last year. The figure was higher than those posted by investors from China and Hong Kong. The latest figure also marked a 26.6% increase from the US$9.4 billion of investments made by Singapore-based investors in 2013.
