SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Savills Singapore, in partnership with Arup Singapore, has been appointed to consult on the design and development of a new $170 million airframe maintenance facility by Singapore-listed engineering group ST Engineering.
In a Sept 23 press release, Savills says that as the consultant project manager, it will work closely with ST Engineering across the entire project life cycle, from due diligence, design, procurement and construction of the new facility.
The new 904,176 sq ft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility at Changi Creek will have four hangar bays that can service widebody aircraft, including a hybrid paint and maintenance bay. The first hangar bay is expected to be ready in mid-2025, followed by the remaining three by the end of 2026.
