Rowsley acquired a 50% stake in Finestday, the company that owns the Manchester Stock Exchange building, for £3.2 million ($5.8 million). The main shareholders of Finestday include former Manchester United football stars Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs.

The Manchester Stock Exchange is a Grade II-listed Edwardian Baroque building built in 1906. It will be converted into a 39-bed boutique hotel with a private members’ club, restaurants, a rooftop bar and conference, and events space. The hotel is expected to start operating in 2017.
