SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - A row of four 2-storey conservation shophouses with attic, along 211 to 217 South Bridge Road in Chinatown, is up for sale at an undisclosed price.
JLL, the marketing agent for the site, says the owner prefers to keep the price disclosed only to potential buyers making the enquiry.
The shophouses have a 20m-wide main road frontage, and sit on a combined land area of 4,120 sq ft, with an approximate built-up area of 8,850 sq ft.
Under URA’s 2019 Master Plan, the site is zoned for commercial use and is located within the Telok Ayer Conservation Area. Currently, the property has approval for F&B usage on the ground floor and for a backpackers’ hostel on the upper floors.
The shophouse row is a five-minute walk away from Chinatown MRT Station on the North-East and Downtown Lines.
JLL says that future growth can be expected in the area, as there is an upcoming 20-storey hotel situated directly behind the shophouses, further boosting F&B and retail demand in the vicinity.
The expression of interest exercise for the sale closes on Aug 5.
