SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - The Real Estate Developers’ Association of Singapore (Redas) marked 60 years of continued support and strong partnership with the Singapore government on Dec 2.
Redas has been actively engaged in social contribution efforts over the years. Moving forward, Redas will continue its tradition of giving with its collective contribution to three charities – Arc Children’s Centre, HCA Hospice Care and ComChest-KidSTART Programme.
Redas’ Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Redas patron Philip Ng, CEO of Far East Organization, for his valued contributions to the association, the community and the built environment in Singapore.
Since its inception in 2013, the award recognises successful and exemplary real estate business leaders for their significant contributions to Redas, the community and real estate sector.
Chia Ngiang Hong, president of Redas, says: “We have indeed good reasons to celebrate 60 years as a fraternity. Redas and its members worked in strong partnership with the government and the various stakeholders to transform our built environment and Singapore into not just a thriving Asian metropolis but also one of the elite global cities. Redas will always be a committed partner of Singapore in its nation-building.”
