SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - International real estate consultancy CBRE has announced that Noboru Hirabayashi has joined its Japan team as head of CBRE capital advisors, Japan. He has been involved in the real estate industry for more than 20 years, and specialises in advising cross-border capital transactions.

Hirabayashi joins CBRE from Diamond Realty Management, a real estate investment management arm of Mitsubishi Corp, where he was involved in cross-border real estate investments. During his tenure with Mitsubishi Corp, he also led new ventures for the firm and launched multiple equity and debt funds in the US for Japanese institutions.
In his new role with CBRE, he will be based in Tokyo and lead the equity and debt-placement for Japanese institutions investing abroad and in the Japanese real estate market.
“Hirabayashi is highly regarded throughout the [Japanese] industry and will provide invaluable leadership as we continue to deliver innovative solutions to leading institutions in the largest commercial investment market in the region,” says Takashi Tsuji, head of capital markets in Japan for CBRE.
Hirabayashis’s extensive experience advising investors, combined with his network and access to Japanese capital, will accelerate the growth of CBRE’s Capital Advisors business in Japan, says Tsuji.
