SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Mitbana – a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corp and Surbana Jurong – together with Indonesian property developer Intiland Development, has launched Green Bestari Park, an integrated township and transit oriented development located in Talaga Bestari in Tangerang, within Indonesia’s Greater Jakarta area.
Mitbana holds a 70% stake in Inti Mitbana Development, a joint venture with Sinar Puspapersada (a subsidiary of Intiland) which will be undertaking the project. Mitbana will oversee the masterplan, urban design and planning of the development, while Intiland will oversee land preparation, infrastructure developer and local stakeholder engagement.
The 51-ha township will be developed in three phases, with the first phase spanning 14 ha that includes cluster landed homes, retail areas, F&B outlets and a clubhouse for residents. Subsequent phases of Green Bestary Park will include more residences, a city park, commercial areas and a TOD integrated with the future mass rapid transit station along the East-West MRT line connecting Balaraja and Cikarang.
“Together with Mitbana, our shared aspiration is to create a leading sustainable development that rejuvenates the Talaga Bestari area and foster the building of an inclusive social community,” says Permadi Indra Yoga, Intiland’s executive director of business development.

Daisuke Kobayashi, deputy chief operating office of Mitbana and president director of Inti Mitbana Development, concurs. “Our vision for Green Bestari Park extends to redefining the next generation of sustainable urban living in Greater Jakarta,” he says. He adds that future developments in Green Bestari Park, such as the TOD and Green Connection, a proposed green boulevard that loops around the township, will allow residents to have an eco-conscious living environment equipped with modern amenities.
