SINGAPORE (EDGEPPROP) - Minor International, a Thai hospitality and lifestyle company, has announced that it will launch a resort branded residences concept in Malaysia. The luxury collection of landed developments will be managed by its luxury hospitality brand, Anantara.

The collection of homes will be called Anantara Desaru Coast Residences and will comprise 20 beachfront pool villas designed as family-friendly luxury getaways. The project is jointly developed with Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels (TAR&H), a subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional.

The landed homes will feature three- and four-bedroom villas of 3,100 sq ft to 6,426 sq ft. Each house will include a private infinity pool and direct access to the beach. These properties will be priced from MYR 7.5 million ($2.46 million).

The entire development will be managed, maintained, and serviced by hospitality staff from Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas. Other facilities within the development include a private beach, a lagoon pool, an ocean-fronting infinity pool, a spa, a fitness centre, and restaurants.

Villas will be priced from MYR 7.5 million ($2.46 million).

“Branded residences — those that are managed by a global hospitality brand through an adjoining hotel or resort — offer exceptional benefits and versatility. Leveraging the developer’s and operator’s combined expertise, they offer assurance in terms of quality and service standards, including those governing the safety and well-being of residents, for additional peace of mind amidst the current global pandemic,” says Micah Tamthai, vice-president of real estate at Minor International.

Minor International’s real estate portfolio comprises nine branded residential developments in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the UAE. The hospitality properties are managed under the Anantara, Four Seasons, and St Regis hospitality brands.
