SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - A three-bedroom loft apartment at The Crest, along Prince Charles Crescent in Bukit Merah, in prime District 3, will be put up for auction on April 23. A bank’s sale, the 1,324 sq ft property has been put on the block with a revised guide price of $2.65 million ($2,002 psf), says Knight Frank Singapore, which is handling the auction.
This is the third time the unit has been put up for auction. The first was in January with an asking price of $2.8 million ($2,115 psf). It was again put up for auction in March with a price of $2.65 million ($2,002 psf). However, neither auction attracted any buyers.

The eighth-floor unit boasts a loft concept and has a living and dining area with a balcony, a kitchen, one en suite master bedroom, and two bedrooms. Based on the caveats lodged, this is the third time that the property has been put up for sale. It was first sold in 2018 for $2.43 million ($1,832 psf).

According to Tricia Tan, Knight Frank Singapore’s director of auction and sales, the unit offers unblocked views of the surroundings and enjoys plenty of natural light through its floor-to-ceiling windows in the main living area and near floor-to-ceiling windows in its bedrooms.

She adds: “The property is ideal for investors and homeowners, particularly for families with children, who can benefit from the generous outdoor open space within the development.”
Completed in 2017, The Crest is a 99-year leasehold condo development featuring 469 units spread across three 23-storey towers and four low-rise, five-storey blocks. Residents enjoy many amenities, including a clubhouse, sky gym, barbecue pits, fitness area, swimming pools, garden, jacuzzi, jogging trail, tennis court, and round-the-clock security.
Price Trend for The Crest
The condo is a six-minute walk to Redhill MRT Station on the East-West Line. It is also within walking distance of the Alexandra Linear Park Connector and Redhill Market at Redhill Lane. The Crescent Girls’ School at Tanglin Road is within 500m of the development.
