The 546-unit Lake Life in the Jurong Lake District received more than 1,200 applications at its launch over the weekend of Oct 4 and 5 (above). The project is developed by a consortium led by Evia Real Estate. One out of every three applicants is said to be a first-time homebuyer. Lake Life is the second executive condominium to enter the market this year, and the first EC to be launched in Jurong in 17 years.
The project’s main attributes are its location in an up-and-coming area near the future Jurong Lake Gardens, as well as its “active living” concept. The 99-year leasehold development is expected to be completed in December 2017. E-applications for the units at Lake Life will close on Oct 12, with bookings to start on Nov 8.
