Knight Frank has appointed Jackie Cheung to director of environmental, social and governance (ESG) for Asia-Pacific (Apac) and Singapore. According to Knight Frank, this is a newly created position for the region.
Cheung was previously Knight Frank’s associate director, head of ESG in Greater China, for two years.
In his new role, Cheung is responsible for leading Knight Frank’s ESG efforts in the Apac region and Singapore, providing advisory services to clients and integrating ESG considerations into internal decision-making processes.

Based in Singapore, Cheung reports to Tim Armstrong, global head of occupier strategy and solutions at Knight Frank, and Low Kin Hon, deputy CEO of Knight Frank Singapore.
“Integrating ESG factors into portfolio planning is no longer optional but a strategic imperative, and we are committed to serving as a trusted ESG advisor for our clients,” says Armstrong.
Low adds: “The real estate industry in Singapore is fast adopting sustainability practices and innovating constantly. Jackie’s blend of skills and experience will be helpful to many Singapore clients."
