Three flats were sold for $1 million or more in the first week of November.

Of these, two five-room HDB flats at Pinnacle @ Duxton fetched $1.10 million each. The larger unit of 1,151 sq ft at 1D Cantonment Road was sold on Nov 2 while the smaller 1,140 sq ft flat at 1B Cantonment Road changed hands on Nov 4.

The highest price paid for a five-room flat historically was $1.12 million for a 1,140 sq ft flat at 1G Cantonment Road in September. A total of 19 five-room flats at Pinnancle @ Duxton were transacted year-to-date, down from 31 in the same period last year. Prices of five-room flats averaged $1.02 million this year, up 5.6% from $969,438 in 2015.

Separately, a 1,259 sq ft, five-room DBSS flat at City View @ Boon Keng was sold for $1 million on Nov 7. This is the sixth transaction involving DBSS flats that hit the $1 million mark. City View @ Boon Keng is located on Boon Keng Road, some 300m away from Boon Keng MRT station. The project was completed in 2011 and fulfilled their five-year minimum occupation period this year.
