SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - JTC has awarded the tender for the industrial site at 160 Gul Circle to New Century Integration at the tendered sum of $2.2 million.
The site has an area of 3,686 sq m (39,676 sq ft) and a gross plot ratio of 1.4. The site also has a 20-year tenure. It is zoned for Business 2 or heavier industrial use.
Launched initially as the third out of five Reserve List sites for the 1H2020 IGLS Programme, it later on opened for tender on Aug 25. The tender closed on Oct 6 and the sites received four bids.
New Century Integration is in the business of manufacturing and repair of tanks, reservoirs and metal containers, particularly those designed for compressed or liquefied gas.

At the same time, the tender for the industrial site at Tampines North Drive 3 (Plot 2), which also launched on Aug 25 and closed on Oct 20, will not be awarded. The one bid it had received was not accepted as the proposed usage was non-compliant.
The plot was one of the three sites in 2H2020 IGLS, measuring 4,800 sq m (51,667 sq ft) and has a gross plot ratio of 2.5. It is also zoned for Business 2 use and has a tenure of 20 years.
