Luxury interior design firm Cheng Chung Design has (CCD) announced the opening of its Singapore office. Located at level 25 of Collyer Quay Centre, the office also serves as its Asia Pacific (Apac) headquarters outside of Greater China.
Established in 1994, CCD is known for providing interior design and consulting services for international hotel brands like Marriot, IHG, Hilton, Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental, Alila and Shangri-La.
CCD’s projects characteristically incorporate Eastern aesthetics with international Western design language. Its recent projects include Mandarin Oriental Qianmen Beijing (2024), Regent Shanghai On The Bund (2023), Shangri-La Nanshan Shenzhen (2023), and Banyan Tree Nanjing Garden Expo (2021).

“Singapore is an ideal launchpad to introduce CCD’s design ethos and redefine the luxury design landscape in this region that is seeing the biggest growths in the sector,” says Joe Cheng, founder of CCD.
CCD’s Singapore offices will be initially staffed by a team of 30 design experts led by Aldwin Ong, senior vice-president of CCD.
Ong shares: “The establishment of CCD in Singapore will help us close the proximity gap and allow us to work closely with international hotel brands based here.”
Globally, CCD employs a staff of more than a thousand across its offices located in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and New York. The Chinese firm has plans to expand into Tokyo in 2025.
