SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Rochester Commons in Singapore’s one-north is set to become the first integrated campus-style development. Standing on a 2.4ha site, the mixed development will have an office tower, hotel, as well as 12 black-and-white heritage bungalows. CapitaLand will develop and manage the 400,000 sq ft integrated development.
The 17-storey Grade A office tower will be outfitted with core and flex working spaces, totalling at 200,000 sq ft. Corporates can select column-free large floor plates up to 22,500 sq ft per floor, or choose unique workspaces in one of seven heritage bungalows.
Rochester Commons will be designed by Gensler, a global architectural firm that has designed mixed developments such as The Hub on Causeway in Boston and Arizona Center in Phoenix.

The hotel component will be operated by The Ascott Limited, which is CapitaLand’s lodging arm under the Citadines Connect brand. Additionally, the mixed development will also house Catapult, an executive learning centre that will deliver training programmes in an experiential and immersive way.
“As companies and individuals adapt to the post COVID-19 environment, executive education and reskilling will be increasingly important. Catapult at Rochester Commons is well-positioned to cater to this demand,” says Tan Yew Chin, CEO of CapitaLand Singapore.
The development is set to be completed in 4Q2021.
