Heightened measures eased for real estate agents from June 14

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - In a circular today, the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) announced the gradual reopening of activities for real estate agents in Phase 3 (Heightened Alert). From June 14, the cap on the number of people visting an inhabited dwelling will be increased to five, from two presently. The maximum number of distinct visitors allowed per household per day will likewise be increased from two to five persons. The five distinct visitors includes the agent. Door-to-door marketing activities, including flyer distribution to households and business premises will also be allowed to resume from June 14. However, marketing of properties in public spaces and open house activities will continue to be suspended due to the higher risk of Covid transmission, says CEA.
