French painter Claude Monet is best known for his impressionist paintings depicting water lilies. The paintings were based on the lilies in Monet’s gardens in Giverny, France. Those gardens are still present today, showcasing a landscape filled with flowers, ponds and greenery.
This garden setting is a key inspiration behind The Giverny Residences, a boutique luxury development at the heart of prime District 10. The freehold condo is along Robin Drive and offers a bespoke collection of homes within a coveted residential enclave.
The five-storey development offers six exclusive residences comprising three- and four-bedroom units. Except for level two — which houses two units — the remaining floors contain just one unit each, offering ample space and privacy.
Units are generously sized between 1,873 sq ft to 2,756 sq ft. According to the developer, larger units were purposefully chosen for the project to cater to discerning buyers who prefer the conveniences of a condo but want the size and space of a landed property.

Designed by architecture firm A D Lab, the homes were envisioned with a bungalow living concept, offering all the comforts and advantages of living in a landed home but with the facilities and conveniences of a luxury high-rise development.
Warren Liu, director and co-founder of A D Lab and project architect for The Giverny Residences, says every floor features a garden terrace and a pool. This way, residents can access the facilities directly from the doorstep of their homes, “Stepping out of your apartment will be like walking into your private garden and pool, similar to the experience of living in a house.”
An interesting feature of The Giverny Residences is that no two homes are identical: Each unit has been crafted with a unique layout. This has allowed each home’s floor plan to be optimised, resulting in a palatial abode that has been thoughtfully configured.
All units feature en suite bedrooms, with master bedrooms equipped with a walk-in wardrobe. There is also a utility room, service yard, private lift lobby, and outdoor deck area. Four-bedroom units also come with both wet and dry kitchens.
Special attention was given to the fixtures and fittings to ensure an air of understated luxury. Besides marble flooring in the interiors, every unit will have premium kitchen appliances from Miele, quartz kitchen countertops from Caesarstone, Poliform wardrobes and cabinets, and bathroom accessories and fittings from Gessi and bathroom sanitary ware from Laufen.

An eye-catching feature of The Giverny Residences is undoubtedly the outdoor areas that house the garden terraces. These suspended landscape decks have a double-volume ceiling height, providing an open space with lush greenery. Similar to the residences, the layout of the outdoor area on each floor is unique.
Jelle Hendrik Therry, the design director at Henning Larsen (formerly Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl), was brought in to bring the garden setting envisioned for The Giverny Residences to life. The firm, which has worked on the landscape design of luxury condos such as CanningHill Piers, One Pearl Bank, and MeyerHouse, sought to bring residents at The Giverny Residences as close to nature as possible.
The development will feature an extensive array of plants and flowers that are masterfully interwoven throughout the landscape decks. The decks will be crafted with timber, providing a warm, welcoming touch. Juxtaposed against the facade walls with a textured concrete finish, the outdoor area provides a calming, serene environment.
The gardens at The Giverny Residences provide residents with a beautiful sanctuary of nature and greenery and serve a dual function of moderating temperatures. Along with other biophilic and sustainable elements at the development, The Giverny Residences has been accorded the BCA Green Mark Platinum rating.

In addition to the luxurious and tranquil lifestyle afforded by The Giverny Residences, residents have the advantage of being close to various amenities. This includes proximity to reputable schools — including Singapore Chinese Girls’ School at Dunearn Road, Anglo-Chinese School at Barker Road, and St Joseph’s Institution at Malcolm Road — all within 1km of the development.
The condo also enjoys great connectivity. It is a three-minute walk to the Stevens MRT Interchange Station for the Downtown and Thomson-East Coast Lines, placing it just one stop from the Botanic Gardens MRT Station and three stops away from the Orchard MRT Station. Driving to Orchard Road, the CBD and other areas islandwide will also be a breeze through the nearby Pan Island Expressway and Central Expressway.
For nature lovers, Singapore Botanic Gardens at Cluny Road is a five-minute drive away, while in the Bukit Timah Area, malls and hawker centres such as Serene Centre at Jalan Serene, Adam Food Centre at Adam Road and Balmoral Plaza on Bukit Timah Road provide a wide variety of shops and F&B choices in the immediate vicinity.
Prices at The Giverny Residences are going from $5.5 million for a three-bedroom unit to $9.5 million for a four-bedroom unit.
