The freehold shophouses, 71, 73, 73A and 73B Jalan Besar, have a land area of about 3,495 sq ft and a floor area of about 6,407 sq ft. The site is zoned “commercial” within a conservation area under the 2014 Master Plan.
The premises is suitable for use as a showroom, retail, office and co-working space, subject to approval of the relevant authorities, says Mary Sai, executive director of investment and capital markets at Knight Frank Singapore.
Located at the junction of Jalan Besar and Upper Weld Road, the site is next to the Jalan Besar MRT station.
The site presents a rare opportunity for investors to own four adjoining shophouses with dual frontage in a heritage-rich area and is suitable for end users who want to occupy the premises immediately, since vacant possession can be granted upon sale,” according to Ian Loh, executive director and head of investment and capital markets at Knight Frank Singapore.
The EOI will close on May 8.
