SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - A four-bedroom unit measuring 2,293 sq ft at The Grange, in prime District 10, has just been put up for sale at $6.5 million ($2,834 psf).
The condominium unit, which is served by a private lift, has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a powder room. It has a column-free, squarish layout which makes it functional and efficient.
As units at The Grange start at a higher height due to tall columns on the ground floor, the bay windows in the rooms and the balcony of the sixth-floor apartment look out to the houses in the Rochalie Drive Good Class Bungalow area. The living room, which faces the pool, receives a lot of natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows.
The apartment is currently occupied by its owners, who are Singapore permanent residents from the UK. They are selling the unit as they are planning to relocate to the UK.

The unit was renovated three years ago by Jeremy Tay of interior design firm Prestige Global Designs, at an estimated cost of about $400,000. “The owners of the unit [at The Grange] fell in love with the interior design of one of the show units at Leedon Residence and got the designer to work on their own unit,” says Kaizar Karkaria, group director at PropNex Realty, who is marketing the property.
Completed in 2008, The Grange is a 95-unit development by MCL Land. Units were built to a high finish. Kitchen appliances — from the oven to the dishwasher — are from Miele, with quartz kitchen countertops. The dry kitchen is where the owner has placed his coffee machine and wine chiller.
Three of the four bedrooms are en suite, with the master bedroom and junior master bedroom featuring a bathtub in their bathrooms. All the bathrooms in the unit are laid with full marble and have Hansgrohe bathroom fittings.

Even though there are only 95 units at The Grange, the developer has provided full condominium facilities including a swimming pool and tennis court.
The Grange is about 100m away from the upcoming Orchard Boulevard MRT Station on the Thomson-East Coast Line. “When the MRT station is completed, the unit can potentially fetch $9,500 in monthly rent from 2021,” says Karkaria.
Based on latest transactions in August, monthly rents at The Grange for a four-bedroom apartment (2,200 to 2,400 sq ft) are between $7,700 and $8,750.
