Tong: It is our hope that the EdgeProp Excellence Awards will set a new benchmark for the industry and encourage developers to strive to build better homes for consumers
A month ago, The Edge Property celebrated its second anniversary and was renamed EdgeProp, which, while retaining the essence of The Edge brand, is edgier and has a higher brand recall among users and stakeholders.
We also unveiled version 4.0 of the new EdgeProp.sg website with a new tagline, “Property Personalised”. It will have features that allow visitors to search for properties below valuation or those with the highest rental yields as well as a new tool for users to find out the probability of a project going for collective sale.
EdgeProp has been a thought leader for Singapore’s real estate industry for the past 15 years, having evolved from The Edge City & Country to The Edge Property and EdgeProp today. This issue will mark the launch of the publication, with a new masthead that aligns with our new brand.
It has always been our goal to help consumers, investors and professionals make better decisions by empowering them with the latest insights, news and data analytics.
We will be holding our inaugural EdgeProp Excellence Awards in Singapore next month, with the aim of identifying the best property players and developments in the city state. We will be recognising a total of 21 winners in seven categories: Top Developer; Property Development Excellence; Development Innovation; Landscape Excellence; Value Creation; Marketing Excellence; and People’s Choice.
The candidates for the awards will be evaluated based on a mix of qualitative and quantitative attributes. As real estate is a complex business that requires the integration of expertise from multiple disciplines to succeed, we are grateful to our panel of judges for lending their expertise.
We will be introducing the judges in the coming weeks: Christopher Flannery, director of Swan & Maclaren; Hwang Yun Hye, assistant professor at the National University of Singapore; Lai Huen Poh, managing director of RSP Architects Planners & Engineers; Tan Tiong Cheng, president of Knight Frank Asia Pacific; and Yu Shi Ming, associate professor at the National University of Singapore.
It is our hope that the EdgeProp Excellence Awards will set a new benchmark for the industry and encourage developers to strive to build better homes for consumers.
