Knight Frank Singapore has appointed Daniel Ding as its head of investment and capital markets (land, building & global real estate) with effect from Jan 1 next year. He will report to Wendy Tang, group managing director, and he will also work alongside Ian Loh, head of investment & capital markets (land, building & collective sales), to strengthen Knight Frank’s service offerings to local and overseas clients.

Ding will set up and lead a team at Knight Frank to capitalise on opportunities in cross-border transactions for both outbound and inbound capital looking for direct real estate investments.
Ding has close to two decades of experience in the areas of business development and investment across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and the UK. His most recent appointment was group CEO of Soilbuild Construction Group where he was responsible for charting its transformation into a digitally innovative construction company, as well as securing building construction contracts and civil works projects. His other achievements include seeing through the listing of Soilbuild Business Space Reit, leading a successful joint venture of the Group’s first investment in Myanmar, as well as spearheading its first UK acquisition of a purpose-built student accommodation asset.
