Crown Group launches final luxury penthouse in Sydney development
By Timothy Tay | July 2, 2021

Australian property developer Crown Group has launched the final three-bedroom penthouse at its Sydney residential development Waterfall by Crown Group. The luxury duplex apartment is on the market for A$3.75 million ($3.78 million).

Waterfall by Crown Group is in the Waterloo suburb in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The 331-unit development was launched in 2017 and comprises a trio of eight-storey residential blocks and a 22-storey residential tower. It features a gym, a rooftop heated infinity pool, a music room, and an outdoor rooftop cinema.

The development also consists of two other penthouse units. A penthouse unit was sold for A$4.5 million in May 2018. The other penthouse fetched $3.5 million in 2020 and was sold during the state’s lockdown period to buyers who viewed the unit virtually over FaceTime.

The final penthouse unit boasts a 1,581 sq ft internal floor plan with 452 sq ft of external balcony space.

“As you rise through the building we turn you outward, reconnecting you with the streets and parks, the treetops of the broader suburb and at the very top of the buildings the geography of Sydney – from the Blue Mountains to Botany Bay.  The penthouses enjoy this full range of experience,” says Adam Haddow, director at SJB Architect’s who led the design of Waterfall.

The penthouse for sale boasts a 1,581 sq ft internal floor plan with 452 sq ft of external balcony space including a private rooftop with views of the Sydney city skyline. “Unique to this penthouse apartment is its oversized rooftop entertainment balcony, capturing spectacular city skyline views,” says Prisca Edwards, director of sales at Crown Group.

The penthouse also features Miele appliances, Japanese smart toilet-bidet hybrids, integrated sound systems, and zoned air-conditioning.
