SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - A freehold, two-storey conservation house along Neil Road is on the market for $5.86 million. The seller is a trust company.

The intermediate terraced house is within the Blair Plain Conservation Area and sits on a 3,192 sq ft site. The property has a built-up area of about 4,813 sq ft. The house is about 350m from the Outram Park MRT Station, and is near the Central Expressway (CTE) and the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE).

“Conservation houses in prime District 2 are tightly held and hard to come by, with only five such houses transacted over the past five years,” says Ian Loh, head of investment and capital markets (land, building and collective sales) at Knight Frank Singapore, which is marketing the property.

He adds: “Acquiring a heritage house in its original condition allows the potential purchaser to restore its original charm, which cannot be easily replicated elsewhere.”

The property is offered through an Expression of Interest exercise that closes on June 16.
