SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - A three-storey freehold shophouse at Havelock Road, near the junction of Beo Crescent, has been put up for sale. With a land area of 1,574 sq ft and a gross floor area (GFA) of about 3,422 sq ft, it has a guide price of $5 million ($3,176 psf on GFA).
Mary Sai, executive director, capital markets for land & building, collective and strata sales at Knight Frank Singapore, says that this stretch of Havelock Road has been “gradually gentrified” and is drawing a younger crowd and more footfall.

Under the same tender, two adjoining HDB shophouses at Jalan Bukit Merah have also been put up for sale at a guide price of $2.8 million. With a total floor area of 3,014 sq ft, the ground floor is currently tenanted to a childcare centre.
The ground floor retail space measures around 1,507 sq ft and there are also living quarters on the second floor.
The tender for the Havelock and Jalan Bukit Merah shophouses will close on May 12 at 3pm.
