On Jan 31, Chip Eng Seng Corporation announced that its subsidiary was awarded a design and build contract from HDB, worth $168 million. The contract will involve the design and construction of residential buildings, community services and carparks at Sengkang.
The first part of the contract, which will take about 10 months to complete, concerns the approval of design, the relocation of bus shelters and construction of bus bays.
Meanwhile, the second part of the contract comprises the construction of ten residential blocks, two carparks and community services. Construction of these are estimated to take 32 months, from the date of obtaining approval from HDB.
