Christina Tan, 32, is an esteemed realtor highly regarded by her clients and professionals in the field for her consistent sales production and reputation.
She has been involved in the sales and marketing in her recent new company, SRI, and has been awarded more than 35 Pegasus Awards, 2 Diamond Awards and the Millionaire Award thus far. Before joining SRI, Christina has been consistently achieving the “Top 4” and “Top 2” positions in the overall sales ranking for two consecutive years in her previous company and was recognised as one of the youngest millionaire realtors.
Despite the current dynamic nature of the real estate industry, she rose to the top of the industry as SRI Champion Top Producer for the year of 2021. In 2021 alone, Christina Tan sold about $100 million worth of properties and generated over $2m in sales revenue. “When the pandemic measures kicked in, I remained optimistic because I believe that even during a recession or market downturn, there will be buying opportunities.” This was evident at new property launches where pent- up demand during Covid-19 drove new home sales to new heights.
Upon interviewing this young and driven realtor, we couldn’t help but notice her collection of over 30 Pegasus Awards (more than $100,000 in sales commissions in a single month) that she has accumulated along the way. She has also achieved 2 Diamond Pegasus Awards (more than $500,000 in sales commissions in a single month) in 2021, which unlocks another milestone in her career.

Buying and selling her own properties has afforded Christina a sensitivity and understanding towards her clients’ journey, which can be attributed to the first-hand perspective she gained through her personal experience.
Her intent and driving principles are to focus on the client’s first experience where all clients are treated equally with respect and to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded. She says, “I feel that creating something of value has to lead first with integrity, which then creates a solid foundation to doing great business together.”
As a property consultant, she often draws up plans for her clients according to their short to long term goals, helping them map out their objectives, and analysing possible future portfolios for the years ahead. She believes that her business acumen helps her tackle unique and challenging issues that her clients face. “I’ve always enjoyed charting a structured path to help others and I am glad to have found my true calling in real estate. I enjoy the process to assist my clients to fulfil their long-term dreams, aspirations and life’s milestones, from being single to getting married, and later, having children. I feel blessed to be able to work with amazing clients who eventually became my friends,” she says.
For now, her clientele is varied — Singaporeans, permanent residents (PRs) and a minority of expatriates and foreigners.

Early Digital Adopter
Christina was one of the early adopters of digital tools among property agents.
After her graduation, she landed her first job at an advertising and event company. Pursuing her interest in real estate with the influence of her cousin, she embarked on this career at the end of 2013.
As a novice in 2014, Christina chose to focus on new property launches. She found time to take courses in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Google Analytics, and other digital tools. Her website also set her apart from the industry’s traditional means of ads via property portals.
Over the years, she has transacted several properties of varied categories, which has led her to become an all-rounded property consultant in handling HDB, private residential, commercial and industrial properties.
She employs both push and pull marketing strategies to reach out to prospective clients. The former involves general ad placements with property portals, and the latter is achieved via her website. “I used both strategies to maximise my reach to potential prospects,” she says.
She also showcases homes on websites and utilizes a team of professional service providers to assist with her clients’ buying and selling needs, including home stagers, painters, designers, handymen, and inspectors.
“As the industry evolves to become more innovative and efficient, I ensure that I anticipate the changing landscape to equip myself with the skills and knowledge ahead of everyone else.”

Her business is also built on the foundation of: Dedication, Innovation, Communication, Determination and Trust while embodying the ability to cater and adapt to all her client’s real estate needs.
“Today’s real estate work does not just revolve around buying, selling, or leasing. It is important for us to understand and relate to our client’s financial commitment and thereafter, apply the best-suited plan accordingly” she said.
“My investment advice is focused on delivering results and profitable outcomes regardless of being at the peak of the property boom or through more challenging times,” she adds.

Christina attributes two main factors to her success: she has found a working system that is unique to her and her team and she also believes that the digital tools in her agency, SRI, have helped her with her detailed analysis and data presentation to her clients.
Along with her millionaire awards and consistent top rankings in her company and after seven years as an agent, Christina is ready to pay it forward by grooming the next generation of realtors.

“I am currently building my own division that will focus on customised mentoring for my team. It is also important that I build meaningful relationships with my team and ensure that we are aligned in achieving our goals together,” she says.

At the end of it all, Christina believes that she has her family to thank in shaping her into who she is today.
“Family. A home is where family is and love resides. Coming from a humble catholic family, my parents have inculcated strong values in us since young and being the second eldest in the family, I know I have to set the right example for the younger ones. My siblings have been my greatest pillar of sup- port throughout my career too. I want to show them that with consistent hard work and per- severance, we can achieve anything that we set out to do,” she says.
Christina as a novice back in 2013, was personally coached by her two mentors, Bala Prakash and Ken Low. She is very grateful and values their time and effort spent in nurturing her to be a successful entrepreneur today!
